Our children had the pleasant privilege of a school mass celebrated by four visiting friends of Moto Hope, from the USA on 20/7/2018 at the school's I.H.M Cross-Lake Multipurpose Hall. The mass celebrated by Fr. Ryan Moravitz (Duluth,Minnesota), was co-celebrated by Fr. Shane Deman (Sioux City, Iowa), Fr. Rob Lampitt (Peoria, Illinois) and Fr. Nick Dudo (Camden, New Jersey).
This very animated mass also served as a dedication mass of our grade eight candidates who will be sitting their final exams (Kenya Certificate of Primary School Education Exams) later in the year. The instruments that the candidates will use in their exams and classes were also blessed during mass.
In attendance were the parents of the grade eight students, Moto Hope staff and community as well as people of good will who came to pray with us for our candidates and Moto Hope at large.
The smiles on the bright faces of our children as they sang in merriment, danced energetically and participated fully at mass was a clear indication of just how much joy the presence of our visiting friends brought to them. After the mass, the priests were excited to meet, greet and interact with the children and community, for the first hand taste and feel of Moto Hope Center and Academy!
