"Dear Parent, We pray you're safe and strong despite Covid-19. We miss having your child back at school but support the Government of Kenya's decision. If we can be of any help to your child, kindly let us know. Let’s keep them engaged holistically. God has a reason for everything and we'll overcome!
God bless you!"- Fr. Francis kabiru (Founder and Patron).
The Ministry of Education on Tuesday (7/7/2020) announced plans to reopen Primary and secondary schools in 2021 shelving earlier plans to reopen schools in September 2020.
The Education cabinet secretary Prof. George Magoha said the education stakeholders had resolved to reopen all basic education learning institutions in January 2021 based on the assumption that the infection curve will have flattened by December, 2020. Furthermore, there will be no Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations in 2020 and the 2020 Standard Eight and Form Four candidates will sit their examinations in 2021. George Magoha said that the 2020 academic year will be considered lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
